So I've been slightly crazy this week-- I deep cleaned my whole house at 10:00p.m. last night and have just finished up alot of the little loose ends I've had and now I am so excited to have our little girl-- I feel finally prepared!
The car seat is sitting in our room and every time I look at it it seems to me like it's just as excited and anticipating being used again :) cuz all car seats think like that right.
Anyways one of the projects that I finally finished was Ellie's dress-- I started this over easter-- ya it's taken me that long.-- but in my defense I did sew two pettiskirts in that time frame also.
Anyways I love how it turned out and had to show it to you.
The cute little bloomers with ruffles
I love the little booties that are reversible--
and strangely I loved making them too-- I'm eager to make some more :)
I made her a little newborn bracelet to but I don't know if it'll fit cuz' it fits Brynley :) O-well.
And a cute little flower headband with pearls--
I love pearls, they just seem so classic and yet vintage at the same time.
Here's option number 2 for the dress though-- a little bit more of a modern flair
Which one do you like the best?
The Vintage or Modern?
That dress is adorable! Good job :)
ReplyDeleteBoth! I am SUCH a sucker for vintage clothes, so maybe I do like that best...but I love how clean the more modern look is...I think vintage might just be the rockinest imho though...SO CUTE! You're too clever(0:

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little outfit! I like the cream version of the booties, but both sides are just adorable. Thank you for stopping by my blog the other day! I love your before & after "roll" on your sidebar >... I may just have to do something like that with mine too! Keep up the good work :)

I love the vintage! What a darling dress and shoes. You are so talented. Could you tell me what pattern you used for the little shoes?

Cute little dress! Amazing work! Just wanted to mention that the car seat you have pictured may be expired-check the date on the seat. Graco seats expire in December of the sixth year from the date of manufacture. Just trying to help keep little Ellie safe :)
