Another good weekend :)

So after a busy week of working hard, it was nice to take a break- I got to go with Dave to an interview and stay in a hotel for a night with him, which was fun cuz' I haven't been to a hotel since my wedding :) Than when we got home, Klint, my nephew on Dave's side, had asked me to take his engagement pictures, so off we went to do that.It was a little stressful since we didn't have much time, an hour at most, and I had to do them at 4:00 instead of just before sunset like I usually do, but it was way fun and a good way to get to know my soon to be niece.

Of course as usual I can't just pick a few so here's a ton of the one's I really liked. Now I just need to get busy and design their announcements, my sister-in-laws Christmas cards, take some more photo's for another family, and get our home ready for the market still, oh and it's Halloween this week, and I still don't have costumes for my kids. It should be a fun week I'd say. :)




Also if ya want to tell me what you think of the pics, it is much appreciated, I really like them at first but after looking at them for along time I start not to like them, so than I have to ask everybody if they're good, a crazy repetitive cycle it seems :)

What a great weekend!

So after having Dave gone for the last two weekends and most of this weekend hunting, I was becoming a little bit of a stressed out crazy lady! Luckily my sister in law Marie had asked me to take some family pictures for them and it was just what I needed to calm down, relax and enjoy life again. I think she has such a cute fun family.











Relaxing and taking the pictures finally got my creative juices flowing again so I could work on the baby shower announcement I had promised to do. I love this one but I have a few more to do for her to choose from, hopefully it won't take me too long now cuz' I have a load of work to do to get our home ready to sell *sigh.

Tagged- six quirks

So The wife tagged me to do this quirk tag, You name six quirks and than tag 6 more people.

My quirks- man I think I have many.......

#1 I'm slightly OCD and that entails a million quirks on my behalf, i.e. The clothes have to be hung the same direction in their certain spot in their organized sections (t-shirts, colored t-shirts, nice shirts ect..) I can't hang a hanger that doesn't have the gap thingy's in it next to one that does, and all hangers have to match, I have to fold clothes in the same order every time, (socks, underwear, my clothes, Dave's clothes than Payton's and Brynleys) I put the dishes away the same way too every time, everything has to face the same way and be stacked nicely, but everyone does things right.

#2 I love cold water, I have my own milk gallon jug full of water in the fridge even though we have a cold water thing on our fridge I'm too impatient to fill up a glass, and I always have to tell every guest that comes to our house that I'm not chugging our milk. I drink sometimes a gallon a day, might be too much but I love cold water :)

#3 I have have to have my house clean before I go to bed, dishes done, everything put away and if my bed is messy I have to remake it before I get in bed and crazily I love doing this, I turn on Norah Pandora radio station and dance and clean my house every night.

#4 I rearrange all my furniture every few months, I get sick of the same thing day in and day out. I've become an expert on how to set our computer and T.V. back up after unplugging everything.

#5 I love writing on paper, I have a million notebooks around, Just to write thoughts down on and I take a lil notebook to church to write notes and thoughts down on, Whenever I'm frustrated or have to make big decisions I have to write my thoughts down(pretty much write to myself) before I can really think clearly, I wish the computer worked for me it'd save some trees but I just have to write it on paper for it to work :)

#6 If I start to read a book (a novel) I have to finish it that day no matter what time I have to stay up to, I try and try to put them down but my brain is constantly in the "book world" until I finish it.

Re-new

So I got my battery Charger YaY! I really love to take pictures it's just fun! Also we got a tree (pretty much it looks like a stick with leaves glued on it) The neighbors sprinklers were on and the sun was setting when I was taking pictures of it so the background of it is kinda fun.

Also I think these pictures so describe Brynley's personality, she's a cutie even with a dirty face :)

This weekend we were able to escape from the suffocating stress of life and go up to Jemmetts Cabin. It is crazy how relaxing it is up there- Me and Dave woke up early to go and take some pictures of the sunrise but it was raining pretty hard so we never made it off the front porch, It was still fun anyways, I'm trying to get Dave addicted to photography with me, He likes to take pictures but right now his life is a little too crazy- my secret evil plan is to get another camera and he can have mine and I'll upgrade to an even better one- mwhhhaaha, Than we can take pictures together since he's always trying to steal mine away when I want to use it.--come on it's a good plan.
Another thing that we did was reformat my computer, Dave is obsessed with reformatting computers he does his every few months and since it'd been four years since we'd done mine he said is was about time. But it is such a pain! Don't get me wrong I like having a clean slate and my computer working at fast speed but I hate it when I forget to save things and this time I forgot to save my fonts- I had only about a million on there that I'd gotten from a million different places over the years, So now I have to try and find my fonts, and I can't remember some of the names of some of my favorite ones, grr I wish I would've remembered that.

And last but not least General Conference-- I love it- Come listen to the prophets voice has been in my head all week. It always seems like whatever I have that is concerning me or questions that I have they are always addressed and answered during conference. I don't like going anywhere else during conference though because I always end up crying through most of it- and that's just awkward, but when I feel the spirit so strongly I react by crying. We're so so so blessed to be able to listen to the prophet and hear his comforting words. I love love General Conference. On the drive home from the cabin.
